                                                                     Lilyanna's Past

The clinking of glasses was all that filled the lab. Only as single scientist was tweaking a few things here and there. All the others were already in the cabin. He poured in a chemical or two with the rest of the ingredients in the small test tube. Carefully he set it down in its holder and jumped when he heard a voice behind him.
"What are you doing Mike?"  A cold female voice asked looking over his shoulder. "You're too young to be in the lab by your self." She hissed at him.
"N-nothing Elizabeth," he stammered. He didn't meet her eye in fear of getting a lecture, she already hated him. "Just… Um… Looking at the test tubes. Don't worry." He grumbled at her. Elizabeth's face paled a little as he said that.
"Don't you dare touch anything in here. If another one of the experiments fail again…" She warned him, "And it's your fault because you tampered…" She didn't have to finish the threat.
"B-b-but what about you? What'll happen to you?" Mike asked boldly. And looked her in the eye. Her face paled more and her eyes narrowed at him.
"What happens to me is none of your damn concern. You're nothing but a child. Children don't belong in a grown ups area. Leave. It's past your curfew." She spat at him and turned to leave.
"In any case I can make it better you old lady!" He told her, his face all red at being called a child. He stuck his tongue out at her an gave a squeak when she whirled around and snagged it.
"Tell anyone that you've messed with the experiment and I'll cut your tongue off!" She whispered dangerously. Mike gulped in sudden fear. "Are we understood?" She asked, and he nodded quickly. She let his tongue go  and left.
